The World Championship Ice Carving was icy cold at minus 25° but it just made me take pictures faster and visit the “thaw room” a couple of times. Going from minus 25° to 40 actually gave me more energy to keep going.
The carvings were so detailed and creative! I know the carvers had to endure the frigid temps as I heard some sculptors talking of the issues they had to deal with, and it wasn’t all easy stuff. But I’m glad to see the effort and beauty put into each masterpiece.
